Refund Policy

At RegalCarz, we are committed to fair and transparent refund practices. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are issued for security deposits and rental payments.
1. Security Deposit Refunds
A security deposit is collected at vehicle pickup and is fully refundable subject to the following conditions:
- The vehicle is returned on time (or with prior approval for extension).
- The vehicle is returned in the same condition as at pickup — no damage, scratches, or dents beyond normal wear.
- The fuel tank is full at the time of return.
- No outstanding traffic fines, toll charges, or parking penalties.
- All accessories provided (keys, papers, charger, etc.) are returned intact.
2. Refund Timeline
Security deposit refunds are processed within 24 to 48 hours of vehicle return and inspection:
- UPI / Bank Transfer: Refunded within 24–48 hours of return.
- Cash Deposit: Refunded in cash at the time of vehicle return, if no deductions are applicable.
3. Deductions from Security Deposit
The following may be deducted from the security deposit before refund:
- Fuel shortfall: Cost of missing fuel at market rates + ₹100 service charge.
- Late return charges: ₹100/hour for the first 2 hours; full day rate thereafter.
- Cleaning charges: ₹500–₹2,000 for excessive dirt, stains, or odour (e.g., from smoking).
- Damage repair: Cost of repair for any damage to the vehicle not covered by insurance.
- Traffic fines: Any outstanding challan or fine received during the rental period.
- Accessories: Replacement cost for any missing accessories or documents.
4. Rental Amount Refunds
Refunds for the rental amount (not the security deposit) are governed by our Cancellation Policy. Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for details.
5. Non-Refundable Situations
- No refund is provided for unused rental days if the vehicle is returned early by the renter's choice.
- No refund for vehicles returned after the agreed time without prior approval.
- Rental amounts are non-refundable once the vehicle has been handed over and the rental period has commenced.
6. Dispute Resolution
If you disagree with any deduction made from your security deposit, please contact us within 48 hours of the return:
