Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the rental of vehicles from RegalCarz ("Company", "we", "us") located at ITPL Main Road, Hoodi, Bangalore – 560048. By booking or renting a vehicle, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Eligibility Requirements

• The renter must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid Indian Driving Licence (minimum 1 year old) is mandatory.
• Original Aadhaar Card or any government-issued photo ID must be presented at pickup.
• The renter must be the primary driver and present at vehicle pickup.
• Additional drivers, if any, must present their own valid driving licence.

2. Booking & Payment

• Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of the full rental amount and security deposit.
• Payments accepted via UPI, bank transfer, or cash.
• All rates are in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• RegalCarz reserves the right to refuse a booking at its sole discretion.

3. Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit is collected at the time of vehicle handover. The deposit amount varies by vehicle:

• Hatchback / Sedan: ₹5,000
• SUV / MPV (Brezza, Ertiga): ₹7,000
• Premium MPV (Innova Crysta): ₹10,000

The deposit will be refunded within 24–48 hours of vehicle return, subject to deductions for any damage, missing fuel, or overdue charges.

4. Fuel Policy

All vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel. The renter is responsible for returning the vehicle with a full tank. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, the cost of the missing fuel will be deducted from the security deposit at market rates plus a ₹100 service charge.

5. Mileage / Kilometre Policy

• All rentals include unlimited kilometres within Bangalore city limits.
• Outstation trips: Additional per-kilometre charges apply (₹10–₹14/km depending on vehicle).
• Outstation trips must be approved in advance by RegalCarz.

6. Rental Period

• Minimum rental period is 24 hours (1 day).
• Late returns beyond the agreed return time are charged at ₹100 per hour for the first 2 hours, and the full daily rate thereafter.
• Extensions must be requested and approved at least 4 hours before the scheduled return time.

7. Permitted Use

• The vehicle must be used only for lawful purposes.
• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.
• The vehicle must not be used for racing, off-roading, or transporting goods commercially.
• Subletting the vehicle to any third party is not permitted.
• Smoking inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited.

8. Accidents & Damage

• The renter must immediately inform RegalCarz of any accident, theft, or damage.
• An FIR must be filed with the police in case of theft, major accident, or third-party damage.
• The renter bears the cost of all damages not covered by insurance, including the insurance excess/deductible.
• Damage to tyres, wheels, underbody, or interior is not covered by comprehensive insurance.

9. Traffic Violations

The renter is solely responsible for all traffic violations, fines, toll charges, and parking penalties incurred during the rental period. Any such penalties not paid during the rental period will be deducted from the security deposit or charged separately.

10. Limitation of Liability

RegalCarz is not liable for any loss of personal belongings, injury, or consequential damages arising from the use of the rented vehicle. The maximum liability of RegalCarz shall not exceed the total rental amount paid.

11. Termination

RegalCarz reserves the right to terminate this agreement and repossess the vehicle at any time if the terms of this agreement are violated, without refund of the rental amount.

12. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Karnataka, India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore.
